Remembering 100 years of Carrying On 1921-2021

Pemburys Fine Arts are proud to be an Advertising Partner in the special edition of the Old Fettesian Newsletter celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Fettes College.

A stunning and incredibly detailed Bronze and Silver Desk piece of this most iconic statue inspired by Birnie Rhind and unveiled in the College grounds in October 1921

Lieutenant Donald Mackintosh VC Seaforth Highlanders killed in action 11 April 1917 was a old Fettesian and a Scottish recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth forces.

Cast in one kilo of Patinated Bronze "Carry On" is set upon on a black lacquered plinth as a constant reminder of the values upheld by the College over its 150 years 

A special edition of ten pieces will be cast in Silver and will feature the Edinburgh City Assay Mark as well as the date letter W for 2021

Priced at £1500 for the Bronze Edition and £3800 for the limited Silver Edition
